This video is unfortunately in Turkish, but shortly, I can tell you that it is about a farmer who kindly requests from a strange driver to drive him to his village.
Driver says that he can drive farmer only if farmer give all of the figs in the basket  to him. Farmer says that it is too much for that, do not accept that request, and the story begins…

We attended to ANUGA as a visitor to represent our company BATA FOOD. I want to say that, if you are in a food business, you should not miss this fair. All kind of food stuff even machinery suppliers are waiting for you with amazing options (next fair will be on 2013, which is two years later). ANUGA is a huge place for networking and finding new ways to grow your business, even if you visit or attend.

Also with this reason, you will be able to explore great Cologne city with good historical places (Köln-Dome is my favorite place).
Unlike Paris (SIAL 2010 Fair Reviews), public transportation options are very comfortable and easy for tourists. One of the best part is, if you are exhibitor or visitor to ANUGA, all public transport vehicles are completely FREE during fair date.

Our aim was to meet our existing customers and to look for new opportunities and fair was really helpful about these. We hope that we will be able to inform you about good news which came out by our meetings at ANUGA fair.

As you may know, Anuga fair is worlds largest food and beverage fair and offers great opportunities for both exhibitors and visitors. Over 6500 exhibitors, 150000 visitors are attending this fair.

We are able to supply 100 MT of Organic Sour Cherry Juice Concentrate 65 Brix at very good price for a limited time.

1. Due to weather conditions new crop will be available 10-12 days late depending last year.
2. Enough raining fulfilled figs annual water needs.
3. Local producers told that fighting with red spider issue shows their results in a good way.
4. In some plantations, there are damages due to Lonchaea aristella.
5. Fusarium spp. Damage (internal rotten seem on figs) is much lower according to last crop.
6. Fruit quality is higher this year but massive figs are lesser.
7. Hillsides showed 3-4 fruit borns and ground fields 5-6
8. If weather conditions continue in season normals, new crop harvest is expected as 55653 metric tones.

Note: Harvest forecast may show ± %5 deflection.

Well, according to Turkish government and Aegean Exporters Association’s instructions, new crop (2011 crop) organic and conventional dried figs export will be forbidden until decision which will be taken at meeting of Aegean Exporters Association council on 7th of September.
