Below we are sharing some cool photos of Brazil Nut pods taken at Coari, Bolivia during November 2017, which had an extremely small crop last year.

This year, general idea is brazil nuts crop will be better than previous year but still short compared to a normal crop, expected as 70% of a normal crop. Brazil nut pods collectors went in to the jungle earlier this year to start earning cash again and premiums paid for the first shipments.

Right now, market is stable but firm as packers are sold out until April 2018 – so it looks like prices will remain high but not reaching the peak levels of the last season.
