Cocoa butter – also known as Theobroma oil – is a pale yellow fat obtained by mechanical pressing of cocoa liquor. The natural cocoa butter is hereafter filtered and deodorized (for deodorized cocoa butter production only) and solidified into blocks. Our cocoa butter products are produced from cocoa beans grown in West Africa, especially in Ghana and Ivory Coast.
We offer Organic Certified and Conventional Cocoa Butter products in Natural and Deodorized types.
You can use our Cocoa Butter products in chocolate production, bakery and pastry products, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
Our Dutch division Bata Food B.V. supplies Fair Trade certified Cocoa products in both organic and conventional types as whole beans, nibs, powder and butter directly from the origin or our stocks in Rotterdam as customs cleared and duty paid.
