Our tomatoes grow at the Aegean region of Turkey and harvest is done on August.
Only the ideal tomatoes are hand picked carefully at the peak of their maturity. Tomatoes go directly to the processing plant to avoid losing any color or flavor.
Tomatoes cut in half to get the full exposure and dry under the sun for 5-6 days. During drying process, we apply salt to tomatoes (or sulphur according to demand) as it creates a natural barrier to birds, insects or rodents.
After drying process, tomatoes taken to factory for sorting and cold storage. We wash and process (cutting, packaging etc.) dried tomatoes which are taken from cold storage during the year to provide the greatest taste and quality all year.
